ORIENTEERING FOR EVERYONE – Have a Go Sprint Event 2 - Audrey Gale
Event information
Come along and give sprint orienteering a try at this free community event! Starts between 1200 - 1300.
Sprint orienteering is a fast-paced style of orienteering usually held around schools, parks, urban areas, or complex gardens. Despite the name, you don’t need to sprint — participants are welcome to walk, jog, or run at their own pace.
With at least two course options available, this event is suitable for all experience levels, including beginners, families, and older children wanting to complete a course independently.
Sprint maps are designed with lots of route choices, making them a fun challenge that helps develop navigation skills, quick thinking, and decision-making.
Whether you’re brand new to orienteering or looking to sharpen your skills, this is a great opportunity to get involved and have some fun outdoors.
Free event – everyone welcome!
