At the NISS O Champs club members did very well.

WMOC 2008

Carey Nazzer, Sue Scott and Rob Newbrook all attended the World Masters Championships in Portugal.

Rob and Sue both finished in the top half of the field and Carey came 7th overall. Well done to this team.

Topec Event

Thanks to Blake and Jacqui for the Topec Event. Despite the maps age it held up well and provided some challenging navigation in the very subtle erosion features. I don't think anyone had a clean run. The first control appeared to provide significant challenge for many. The trick is to read your control descriptions and read the map carefully. The control was cklearly on a track at the bottom of an earth bank. Slow down to speed up.
